![]() (Tho even in the Viking Scenario they haven even bothered to extend the city borders) So from 11 scenarios only 3 decent ones that play with larger setups AND actual borders (its 3 not 2, i forgot Civil War in my last post) - Scramble for Africa is somehow both Yay and Nay in this regard. Renaissance just lets you start with only 1 city.Īnd Korea is kinda awkward, as already said. ? Mongols forces you to play the Mongols and got an absolutely awkward map. It wouldn't be much fun to play Scramble for Africa but Africa was already scrambled. (Korea one doesnt count, it sucks) Idk, pretty even I'd say, Samurai invasion, Civil war, Mongols, Vikings, Renaissance, probably more than half if you broke it down to all possible playable civ's vs scenario. Originally posted by MrMonokel2000:Miss the good old days in olders Civ games when you got an actual scenario with preset cities/borders etc. I suspect most casual players, with less than 100 hours, didn't even touch the DLCs. This worked for me.Įdit: I'd also like to add that the game has so many civs to play, especially compared to how many scenarios you have. At which point if I could establish a okay-ish city, I could destroy the Almohads and rack up victory points. I'd assume that most people would find this situation quite difficult as I did.Īnd if you're interested, my way to circumvent this issue was to just abandon my capital, settle in Morocco and try to get as many troops there before you get border blocked from moving there. Destroying England early game was a waste of time, because it just changes your borders from the middle of England to the coast of England with France and the Dutch. I had some difficulty with this achievement myself because every time I went south towards the Almohads with units, I'd get backstabbed by England (which would also prevent me from sending anything more towards Morocco). That being said, I do think the achievement can be somewhat challenging as the best method to raise your score in that scenario is to wage religious wars, and since the Celts start completely isolated by Western countries (same religion), you cannot gain any points from them. Well, DLC achievements are generally more rare because not everyone owns the DLCs.
